In line with our values charter “Adapt Shape and Shake”, we wanted to deliver a project that would be useful for people and the planet.

In 2023, we decided to offer a free branding to an association based in Brussels. Through a careful selection process, we found the perfect partner in Rise for Climate Belgium, an organization whose mission and actions align beautifully with our values of sustainability, inclusivity, and creativity.

Guided by our values, we believe that impactful design can drive positive change. “Adapt, Shape, and Shake” isn’t just a slogan; it’s our approach to everything we do:

• Adapt – We will not change the world to make it more sustainable, but by our actions, we can inspire people to make efforts
• Shape – We’re dedicated to shaping our studio into a place that reflects the kind of world we want to live in: inclusive, conscious, and proactive.
• Shake – We believe in democratizing creativity, making it accessible to everyone to encourage wider and more impactful change.

With these values in mind, we launched a call for applications, inviting local associations to introduce themselves, their goals, and their impact. We were thrilled to receive many inspiring submissions, but one stood out as especially aligned with our vision: Rise for Climate Belgium.

We closely worked with the association to produce an innovative branding, that would be flexible enough to adapt to the constraints of an association with limited means and resources and no team dedicated to their communication.

Their existing brand identity was impactful but focused heavily on the urgency of the crisis, symbolized by visuals of rising sea levels. We wanted to help them transition to a more uplifting message — a new identity that not only raises awareness but also inspires and motivates to take action.

So, the new identity emancipates from the old one, by taking a resolutely more positive approach. We decided to create a graphic composition that announces the rise of a new militantism area, committed to make the world going in the right direction. Hence the sunrise reference and the brighter colors.

This rebranding project was a chance to live out our values. By offering our skills to a cause we believe in, we’re contributing to the change we want to see in the world. Working with Rise for Climate Belgium has been inspiring for our team, and we hope this new identity will empower them to continue their vital work with renewed energy and optimism.
